Packaging Trays, Thermoforming Inserts, Plastic Inserts and Workpiece Carriers

In the broad field of thermoforming trays, plastic trays, sorting inserts and compartment inserts, we offer you concepts tailored to your product for all industrial sectors with customised internal and external geometries. We also provide our own basic moulds in many external dimensions free of charge for all-round stackable trays. These inexpensive trays protect your product from any kind of contamination and are also ideal for automated production processes due to their high level of accuracy.

Available external dimensions for our own height-adjustable basic moulds are, for example

  • 560 x 360 mm
  • 540 x 350 mm
  • 535 x 335 mm
  • 395 x 295 mm
  • 360 x 260 mm
  • 350 x 275 mm
  • 350 x 250 mm
  • 800 x 600mm
  • 600 x 400mm
  • 400 x 300mm.

Professional Advice

We will be happy to advise you on the geometric design and the plastic required for the application (coloured, transparent, oil-resistant, abrasion-resistant) and provide you with professional recommendations. This is primarily about:

  • the external dimensions of the inserts
  • Ensuring optimum product protection
  • Maximum utilisation of the available space
  • Volume minimisation of the inserts when empty

Suitable Outer Packaging

We are also happy to supply corrugated cardboard boxes (e.g. shipping boxes and folding boxes) or small load carriers as outer packaging for plastic inserts on request.

Can also be used as a Workpiece Carrier

Thanks to their guaranteed high accuracy, our stackable plastic trays are also ideal for use as workpiece carriers in automated production processes. They have a high load capacity, high stability and a low dead weight and are ideal for staging, storing and stacking within modern automated storage, gripping and transport systems.

Optimised Space UtilisationTray Stacking

Packaging trays that can be stacked on top of non-touch-sensitive products have various advantages. As there is no need to consider a stacking edge in the tray, the tray surface can be filled with an optimum number of products.

The trays can therefore also be designed to be much flatter, which means that a low film thickness (lower raw material input) leads to correspondingly lower costs. We predominantly manufacture such trays from up to 100 per cent recycled raw materials.

Rotary Stacking Traysfor sensitive Products

Rotating stacking trays are well-known and popular in the industrial packaging sector. On the one hand, the available tray area can be optimally utilised (high volume utilisation) and on the other hand, such trays can be stacked inside each other when empty to save space (minimisation of packaging storage).

Sensitive products can also be protected, stored and transported in such tray constructions.

Inlays for the Pharmaceutical Industry

Every day, medicines are produced in the pharmaceutical industry on fully automated production systems. The corresponding products have to be sorted, handled and transported.

For such applications, we develop, design, sample and manufacture plastic trays and plastic inserts to suit all of our customers’ production requirements.

High-Quality Packagingfor the Glass and Optical Industry

In the high-quality optical glass industry, special packaging is essential for maximum product protection. For many years, we have been developing, designing and manufacturing customised special packaging for optical glasses, which can easily represent values in the 5-6-digit euro range.

To securely fix the glass in the packaging, we only need minimal surfaces or points so that the sensitive glass surfaces are optimally protected.

Also suitable for Special Requirements

All our thermoformed packaging systems are of course also available in electrically conductive plastics to protect against electrostatic charge, in rubberised, non-slip and abrasion-resistant plastics (ABS-TPU, PS-TPE) and benzene and chemical-resistant plastics. Additional services such as heat-seal embossing, printing, ultrasonic welding or the attachment of PE labels and label holders are part of our service.
