Knipp GmbH is a family business with a long tradition. Originally founded as a cardboard box factory in Offenbach am Main (Rhine-Main area), the company has been in existence for over 140 years.
In addition to the development and sale of cardboard products, the processing of plastics in thermoforming technology dominates today. This area has now been the central business area of the company’s activities for 40 years.
Compared to other methods of plastics processing, the thermoforming process offers a wide range of applications in a wide variety of industries at favourable product and tool prices.
First and foremost, this involves high-quality plastic packaging.
Our expertise and state-of-the-art technological equipment enable us to provide professional advice, development, production and post-processing.
In combination with our well-known good service, we can therefore offer optimal cooperation in order to realise our customers’ individual wishes quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
For many years, our company has focussed on sustainability and the careful and environmentally friendly use of natural resources.
In the production and storage area, for example, we work with the heat utilisation of our compressors and the use of closed heat circuits in all production areas.
In addition, over 80 per cent of the plastic products manufactured today are already made from regenerated (recycled) raw materials.
In this context, we are also happy to advise on the use of environmentally friendly reusable packaging, which protects our environment through multiple use over many cycles.

It is important to us to pass on to future generations the knowledge and expertise we have accumulated over a long tradition and passed on from generation to generation. That is why we are proud to have been able to train specialised personnel for over 20 years.
